Annie and Kate,
I cannot begin to describe the blessings that have poured into our lives as I focus completely on Jesus Christ - faith in Him, and repentance. (That is a gift and powerful lesson: as He changes me it affects all of us.)
He is flooding me with the Holy Ghost - who brings priesthood power!
I feel the Savior filling me with priesthood power.
This is significant because I feel Him working in my life in distinct, miraculous, “one by one” moments.
Not only that, I feel Him working in other’s lives in miraculous “one by one” moments.
These “one by one” interactions are clear and poignant: Him and me, Him and you, Him and others.
I had an epiphany just now that threw me out of bed and onto my computer to type all of this:
If boys are given priesthood power and authority to bless other people, then of course I am, too!
I do not feel myself filled with power so I can sit and enjoy it, though that is a miraculous blessing. When I feel overflowing with love and power, I want nothing more than to give it away! God sends us power so we can help someone else.
On my mission a companion and I sat in a Stake Conference. The stake president called us up to the stand (I remember stalling unsure if I understood His speedy Spanish correctly...) We made our way to the podium alongside two elders. President Arraya proceeded to read Isaiah’s verses in Spanish, “Thus saith the Lord God, behold, I will lift up mine hand to the Gentiles, and set up my standard to the people: and they shall bring thy sons in their arms, and thy daughters shall be carried upon their shoulders. And kings shall be thy nursing fathers, and their queens thy nursing mothers: they shall bow down to thee with their face towards the earth, and lick up the dust of thy feet; and thou shalt know that I am the Lord: for they shall not be ashamed that wait for me..”
I’m not sure there is any greater gift than assisting another in their mortal journey, “making their pathway bright”. And we do it so they and we learn even more who the Lord is and what He has done for us. We all need each other more than we might know.
I cannot believe we get to be alive at this time, with 3rd Nephi unfolding in real life! What an INCREDIBLE, BEAUTIFUL, JOYFUL, PEACEFUL, MIRACULOUS time to be alive.
(Girls, of course I have meltdowns, bawl my eyes out, and have hard days and weeks. Tonight isn’t one of them. I see a zoomed-out vision of the grandeur of it all, blood, sweat, and tears included.)
I believe Him. I believe His signs. I believe every single one of His promises. The scriptures have never felt so relevant, or exciting to devour! I look forward to His healing hands that reach each of us “one by one”.
And as the days speed by, I find every line our prophet has spoken manifest in my life. I can hardly contain myself each time his words pop into my mind and I find myself eating the delicious fruit of whatever it was He promised and prophesied.
What an incredible time to be on earth. When revelations, visions, prophecies, the Holy Ghost, scriptures written for you and me, and priesthood power flow in abundance. It’s all yours for the taking, for everyone, “one by one.”

No puedo comenzar a describir las bendiciones que se han derramado en nuestras vidas al enfocarme completamente en Jesucristo: la fe en Él y el arrepentimiento. (Ese es un regalo y una lección poderosa: cuando Él me cambia, nos afecta a todos).
Él me está inundando con el Espíritu Santo, ¡quien trae el poder del sacerdocio!
Siento que el Salvador me llena con este poder.
Esto es significativo porque lo siento trabajando en mi vida en momentos distintos, milagrosos, “uno por uno”.
No solo eso, lo siento trabajando en las vidas de otros también en momentos milagrosos "uno por uno".
Estas interacciones “una a una” son claras y conmovedoras: Él y yo, Él y tú, Él y los demás.
Tuve una epifanía hace un momento que me sacó de la cama y me puso en mi computadora para escribir todo esto:
Si a los niños se les otorga el poder y la autoridad del sacerdocio para bendecir a otras personas, me es dado así ¡a mí también!
No me siento lleno de poder para sentarme y disfrutarlo. Cuando me siento rebosante de amor y poder, ¡no quiero nada más que regalarlo! Dios nos envía poder para que podamos ayudar a otras personas, “uno por uno”.
En mi misión, una compañera y yo nos sentamos en una conferencia de estaca. El presidente de estaca nos llamó al estrado (recuerdo que me detuve porque no estaba seguro de haber entendido correctamente Su rápido español ...) Nos dirigimos al podio junto a dos elderes. El presidente Arraya procedió a leer los versículos de Isaías: “Así ha dicho Jehová el Señor: He aquí, alzaré mi mano a los gentiles, y alzaré mi estandarte al pueblo; y traerán a tus hijos en brazos, y tus hijas ser llevado sobre sus hombros. Y reyes serán tus nodrizas, y sus reinas tus nodrizas; se inclinarán ante ti con el rostro hacia la tierra, y lamerán el polvo de tus pies; y sabrás que yo soy el Señor, porque no serán avergonzados los que esperan en mí ... "
No estoy seguro de que haya un regalo más grande que compartir el poder de Dios con otra persona, "hacer que su camino sea brillante". Todos nos necesitamos, unos a otros, tal vez más de lo que hemos imaginados.
¡No puedo creer que estemos vivas en este momento, cuando el tercer Nefi está sucediendo en la vida real! Qué tiempo INCREÍBLE, HERMOSO, ALEGRE, PACÍFICO, MILAGROSO para estar vivo.
(Chicas, tengo que decir: tengo crisis nerviosas. Lloro mucho. Tengo días, semanas y momentos difíciles. Pero esta noche no es una de esas. Veo una visión ampliada de la grandeza de todo esto, sangre, sudor y lágrimas incluidos).
Yo le creo. Creo en Sus señales. Creo en cada una de sus promesas. ¡Las Escrituras nunca se han sentido tan relevantes o emocionantes de devorar!
Y a medida que pasan los días, encuentro que cada línea que nuestro profeta ha hablado se manifiesta en mi vida; apenas puedo contenerme cada vez que se cumple otra promesa.
Qué tiempo tan increíble para estar en la tierra. Cuando las revelaciones, las visiones, las profecías, el Espíritu Santo, las Escrituras escritas para ti y para mí, y el poder del sacerdocio fluyen en abundancia. Y es todo tuyo. Se lo da, "uno por uno".

A todos: tiene agua para emergencia? Comida? Gasolina en el auto? Los “kits” de 72 horas? Estamos preparando mucho acá para cualquiera que nos venga. Espero que todos ustedes también se están preparando…lean 3 Nefi. Allí vemos todo lo que va a suceder antes que venga Jesucristo. Mucho gozo vendrá! pero no antes la dificultad y desafíos.
