Annie and Kate sleep on the floor next to our bed. In the middle of the night I awoke to Kate crying. I looked over the edge of the bed and saw her two legs sticking out from underneath the bed. I reached down, pulled her out, she snuggled her "nye-nye" (blanket) and we all went back to sleep.
This beach is one of our favorite places, ever. It's always entertaining, it's close so it involves minimal packing and last minute plans, and it's completely gorgeous, especially with the sun! Artsy Michelle made a sea turtle out of drift wood and rocks. She found a secluded spot away from the babes to do her work, but of course even on an entirely secluded beach the babies are still only clinging to you! It reminded me of a recent conversation with a friend, "Even if you have a 3,000 square foot home your kids are only going to be wherever you are." Truth.
