Beaches and Bikes

"WHO DO YOU THINK I AM?!!! NEIL ARMSTRONG?!!!!" shouts Michelle back to Tyler as we bike up the upward slant of a common neighborhood road.

"NEIL ARMSTRONG?! DO YOU MEAN LANCE???!!!" He and I shout simultaneously while cracking up.

"WE'RRREEEE GOINNNN' TO THE MOOOOOOOOONNNNN!" Tyler Judd.

And then,

"THEY TOLD ME MY EYEBROWS COULDN'T SWEAT OR THE DYE WOULDN'T TAKE AS WELL!" She yelled into the wind. "OH SH$^%@^&!" He shouted back,"WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME THAT EARLIER?!!!"

And then,

Tyler Judd, "See, aren't you guys glad we biked?!" as we sat in the dark, on our way home, on a freezing street corner waiting for the light to change, with crying babies on the back of bikes, before our final ascent up a long hill, and then adding, "If we would have driven we would be home already!"

After we walked through the Locks Annie climbed out of the bike trailer and said, "I want to run." She ran next to Tyler biking, at a speedy pace, the entire block and then decided she wanted back in. She is her daddy's future running partner.

Oh how we are in love with the beach, and will do anything to get there.

I played around with a few things for these photos: camera settings, shooting through stuff, presets in post. I'm not sure I'm totally in love with all of them. Some are a bit darker than my personal preference and preferred style, but I want to try it all and practice it all to find my exact niche in the photo world, so here are some images from our evening ride.
